Visit Mobile held its annual Meet Mobile! Day on January 10, 2018 for winter residents staying in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. This annual snowbird expo attracted close to 500 snowbirds who were eager to learn about the activities available in Mobile while they are wintering at our beaches. Less than an hour away, Mobile makes for a perfect day-trip for this demographic.

We met folks from Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri and other mid-western and northeastern states, many who had visited the Condé-Charlotte Museum in past winters at the beach.  Almost 30 exhibitors, including attractions, sightseeing companies, restaurants and hotels, joined Visit Mobile at the Events Center at the Wharf in Orange Beach for this unique event.  Free food, live music, door prizes and a picture booth made this two hour event a very festive one!
