The Condé-Charlotte Museum is reducing its schedule to three days a week, effective immediately. The museum will be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Wearing masks and social distancing will continue to be observed.

“This delta variant of COVID 19 is out of hand, so we’ve decided to reduce the number of days that we are open to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday,” Museum Director Mary Lee Montgomery said. “We will be on this schedule from now through September, and will reassess at the end of September to decide if we want to open full time or maintain the shortened week.”

The Condé-Charlotte Museum, Mobile’s oldest historic house museum, is owned, preserved and operated by the National Society of the Colonial Dames in the State of Alabama, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites.
