This weekend brings The Festival of Flowers, Lower Dauphin Street Style, and it will not disappoint. It takes place Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13.

This two-day event includes a move to Cathedral Square in downtown Mobile, showcasing an open air display of living garden sculptures created by teams consisting of the Mobile area’s finest florists, artists, landscapers, nurseries, and Bellingrath Gardens. Teams will go head-to-head as they compete for the People’s Choice Award.

Show features include garden tours of downtown residences, select vendors, a nearby seminar area and a Saturday morning car show.

While downtown, stop by for a tour of the Conde-Charlotte Museum in historic Fort Conde Village. Open Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The last tour begins at 3 p.m.
